• Wrote a feed handler in C++ to receive realtime market data from Bloomberg’s BPIPE API.
• Interfaced with KDB time series database to dynamically retrieve historical and realtime market data.
• Created a Python binding for a fast sequence comparison algorithm written in C++.

Designed and implemented a developer-facing metrics aggregation library in Typescript for the rendering engine and reusable components which power a new microservice architecture for Amazon’s retail site.

• Used Prometheus for metrics aggregation and AWS CloudWatch to store aggregated metrics.
• Wrote a metrics publisher for CloudWatch in Go.

Built dashboards to aid analysts in viewing and finding patterns in unstructured data from historical projects .

• Deployed an internal Elasticsearch cluster and React front end with Docker for indexing and searching operations data.

Developed desktop applications to visualize seismic data to map hydraulic fractures underground

• Built a desktop application for use by analysts with Electron, Angular 2, and the Polymer Project to interface with code written in R in order to plot 2D and 3D diagrams of fractures.
